Hula girl at heart

This is my entry into the challenge at Saturated Canary where the topic was a song title, so I picked the gorgeous Ari and the song Hula Girl at Heart by one of my favourite singers Jimmy Buffett.

Using up scraps....

Okay new year, new hopes - hope I'll be able to keep up with blogging this year, so to get off to a good start here's 4 cards I made quick and easy using up bits of card/paper I've been hoarding for ages

They are all slightly different and at the moment I'm quite liking just using a sentiment rather than an image. These sentiments I got from Ginger's House, there are some fantastic quotes etc on here and are all free to download. I've entered one of these into a challenge over at Digi Galore whose challenge is try something new, well it's new to me not to use an image. Also entered it into a challenge on  Hiding In My Craft Room where anything goes.

A freebie - love it........

Wow we are so lucky to be given this gorgeous image as a freebie from Copic Marker Europe the only rule is it has to be coloured with Copics. I only have a few at the moment so my colours are very limited. This is the first time I've done an "off the page" card and I'm quite pleased with it

I just love this company for funny cards this is Gus coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils the clock die is from Tim Holtz and the little OMG stamp is from a set of 36 by LOTV

Monochrome - April

This is my entry for the challenge over at Bling It On for April the topic is Monochrome and it caused me no end of problems.

I cut the frame on the Cricut using the Fancy Frames cartridge, being new to this machine it came out bigger than what I expected, so had to make the card bigger! I don't do BIG cards!!!

The pearls in the corners are liquid pearls and being in a rush to get it photographed and loaded onto the blog I smudged some of the top ones, hence the hearts in the top corners! I would have put them on the bottom ones too but by the time I got round to it they'd dried so I thought s** it, I'll leave 'em.
